Consultation
Consultation can take a variety of forms, from giving advice after studying
emailed photos, to meeting for a couple of hours on your site, to visiting your
site, photographing it and doing a design. I might then meet with contractors
and selected project manager, lay out the garden, and leave it to those
professionals to implement. The garden shown below was brought about through
this latter approach.
I finalized the measurements after drawing the project out on site.
This gave me a rough visual by which to determine the final
measurements. Although it is
best to oversee construction, it is not always necessary.
My consultation fee depends on where you are located. If after consulting with me you
chose to hire me, that consultation fee is deducted
from the design fee.
